Last day in paradise......

We were up early again today to get our last few hours of beach time in before a long travel day home.  The wind switched direction overnight so we had more waves on our beach today.  That meant a lot more seaweed and debris on the beach and the water was not quite as clear.  It didn't discourage us though and we spent a lot of time in the water and taking in the sights that had become so familiar during our week here.

Our trip home included a four hour layover in rainy Charlotte, NC.  Our approach was called off by the pilot and we had to climb back up through the clouds and come back in on a different runway.  Kind of a tense time in the cabin but the landing was good. The extra from today is an iPhone shot out the window of the plane somewhere over the Southern US.

Once back in Detroit we needed a jump start for the car in long term parking.  Not sure why, but the battery was stone dead.

Finally got home around 1am.  Wouldn't trade any of our week for anything.
