WHAT'S OUTSIDE MY WINDOW

This little blackbird fledgling is quite a cool customer.

The last time I saw him he was much more spherical, standing in exactly the same place when Sam, the upstairs cat came leaping down the back steps intent on murder. I thought, "Ooi ooi ooi!"

His parents were screaming, "Get the f*** out of there" from the safety of the garden wall & he obliged with a timely surge of adrenaline & joined his elders on the wall. OOF!!

Today, the parents were nowhere to be seen - guess they trust him to do his own thing.
