Orchard Heaters

It has not been cold enough during our stay in the Yakima Valley for the use these orchard heaters, but they are at ready just in case. The valley is a huge agricultural area, mostly apples, cherries, and, in the past 20 years, wine grapes. The delicate buds sometimes need a bit of warming help during the occasional night that can dip below freezing. These old oil heaters have been around for many growing seasons, making for some nice rust on their stacks.
