Slaters Bridge, Little Langdale
Fabulous weekend in the Lake District wandering the hills. Managed to do the Fairfield Horseshoe again on Saturday....cor those steps down into Rydal are crippling after 11 or 12 miles. This walk is on my top 5, and is a definite training route for Nepal (think we'll be doing it again before October).
Sunday was a low level day in Great Langdale / Little Langdale valleys. Starting from the ODG pub we wandered down to Skelwith Bridge, before walking back via Little Langdale and Blea Tarn. The shot above was taken just outside of Little Langdale and is an iconic photographic spot.
Big stopper and 8 sec exposure.
