Through the petals

What's nice about being retired is that I don't look forward to Friday in the way I used to when I was working. Monday is also taking on a different feel too without the late night dread which would creep up inexorably on a Sunday night. Having said that I was looking forward to Friday today as our youngest was making a journey home for the weekend. It was also the day the local election results came out but that was a source of some disappointment.

This blip was taking on the walk with gorgeous sun setting the flowers aglow. Choosing a dandelion was easy today as I used it to cover the sun.
