Flower Friday: Ribes Sanguineum

Red Flowering Currant, in our Portland yard it was a vigorous, many stemmed bush bursting with lush dangling blossoms in the spring. Out here in a drier and windier environment, it is a shadow of it's Portland self. Still the lovely blossom is a delight, even if the blossoms are few.
