Balkan Green

Normally I would not be able to get this close. Normally the face would not be so dramatic. I have cropped the shot so you are not distracted by the injuries to its tail. Within the hour it had died and looked much more peaceful. I wish I had taken a photograph of it then but I didn't, I just wheeched it over the boundary. Fabulous beast!
