Nothing beats a nice cup of nectar...

...or so this bee thinks. I had 10 minutes at my parents' house this afternoon and spotted the bees all over their lavender. I actually managed to get 13 close up shots with the bees in focus - quite amazing for me! That's why this is posted late - I couldn't choose! Finally opted for this one, as it looks like it's having a nice long drink.

I don't have a macro lens, so to get this my lens was literally touching the flower - I often get pollen or water droplets on the glass trying to get these kind of shots.
