Oh poor fishy :/

Tis the Dragon Boat Festival in Saltaire this weekend but I was totally distracted by the Adventures along the riverbank/and canal, in true Hammy Hamster style :)) 
I thought in my mind that herons were fishing for little tiddlers.... not sure what this fish is but it's a big 'un!  So much so that Mr eyes are bigger than your belly Heron struggled to eat it.  He popped it behind the stones to come back to later.... Saturday night supper sorted!

In contrast to murderous canal activity.... a cutie pie aww factor extra :)
