No crumpet!

Not a line from Carry on Baker, but a sign above an aisle in the Morrisons supermarket in Largs, which got me fretting.

Does it mean only 6 people are free from crumpets? Perhaps it was the store's 6th day rid of a pernicious crumpet menace?

Maybe I should just glad to be in an environment where the native scotch pancake might have a chance to flourish and repopulate!
