Gold & Silber

The cake for tomorrow came out perfect. We'll see tomorrow how the inside is.... I had a problem with the scale and it was more guessing than measuring the ingredients.
It's made of two different doughs, so there was room for a lot of miscalculation.
The 'Gold' part includes eggyolk and coconut flakes, the 'Silver' the egg whites and hazelnuts. It stays fresh forever.

In the photo it's still cooling off after baking and missing the icing (hazelnut again or perhaps only powdered sugar, have not decided that yet).

It's one of the cakes for my mom's 84th birthday tomorrow.
