Inexplicable

After the most perfect birthday we spent today at the South Beach and Higgs Beach.
For some reason only known to K and I, we decided that this palm tree was adequate protection against the sun.
We were, of course, mistaken. Factor 30 applied once is not the sensible approach to a tropical holiday especially for a pale-skinned Celtic Brit and a pale-skinned Goth San Franciscan.
