Through the blinds

We're on our annual holiday to Scotland, and the holiday homes at this estate have blinds all around. The houses are built according to what they say is a Scottish tradition with the living room above the bedrooms (kind of a farm idea, living above the stable so that you can profit from the warmth of the live-stock). No cattle here though ;-)  For the Community Blog challenge this week of what's outside our windows I'm choosing this one with the stripes, but I'll show you a lovely view on the heather and the distant Cairngorms too, view from the balcony, in the extras.
Its been another wonderful day, sun, blue skies, a bit of a chilly wind though. Did a bit of a walk and accompanied DJ to the Driving Range.
Now cooking dinner :-)
