Room with a view

We had a leisurely morning spent in our friends' garden, and I had a swim in their pool before packing to leave their lovely house and garden, and this beautiful island. We have had a great time with them, and hope to see them again when we ski in Val d'Isere where they have a chalet.

The flight was painless and we were back in time to see Ella and Nathaniel before bedtime. She has 'adopted' the neighbours' cat Jagger, so was trying to persuade her mum to let her have the cat sleep tonight on her bed. In fact she is trying to persuade them to let her have a pet. (The woodlice died).

The washing is on and we are going to watch the last episode of 'Line of Duty'.
