"Eratigena Atrica" ... (probably)

... or, if you prefer, a "Giant House Spider" (although in this case a "Giant Shed Spider") ... (possibly also known as a "Cardinal Spider") ... 
Either way, the rain started at about 6:00 AM this morning and it was still raining at 9:00 PM this evening, with absolutely no sign of the sun ... 
So I decided to visit one of my little friends in the shed to see if she was up for having her photo taken ... I had to tickle her into position, but once there she remained still long enough to for me to catch a couple of good shots ... 
Probably won't make the cover of "Vogue" magazine, but apparently a bit of a 'looker' in the spider world ... :o)
