The Barras!

The famous Glasgow Barras market is a bastion of working class culture. The place is heaving with stalls and with characters ever weekend. It's a stalwart of the east end of the city and has been for over 100 years.

You will imagine my surprise when I spotted this "container" bar much reminiscent of the same type of thing in London. These shipping containers are arranged to create small bars on different levels with outside seating - all very middle class and out of place, but brilliant, here - two cultures do indeed collide!
