Before during after

I remember writing the blip for this yesterday but not what I put. For some reason the blip didn't take.
This was grandad's presentation miner's lamp.
Mum used to have it next to the fireplace and polish it regularly.
I bought my first ever can of Brasso last week and this is the blip that I had planned for all week and not done.
The smell of Brasso is distilled memories. Though not using it sat out in the sun - I keep wondering what is in it and if I'll spontaneously combust.
