It's been a long day.

But, Mum got out of hospital and that was the goal for the day. She's absolutely battered, her bruises are get darker and darker as the day goes on. She's fractured her upper jaw bone right across her face. We're hopefully going to be lucky and she won't require surgery but she's got to go back on Thursday to find out for sure.

It was great to get her home. She's had multiple cups of "proper tea" and napped a lot.

She gave me the loveliest hug and said she was so pleased I was here and that she felt so loved. I'm so happy she's home.
