Orange Pore Fungi (Favolaschia calocera)

All the other people who go looking for these fungi seem to find them in lovely clusters.  Not me though!  Last time I went I found just a singe one.  Today  I went on another hunt.  Same result!

I had a lovely morning in Christchurch with Sebastian then headed home to do some work.  Driving home I decided to take a detour on a wee Orange Pore Fungi hunt.  It was only semi successful but I still enjoyed photographing this lonely specimen.
