Godley Head ...

... is at the entrance to Lyttelton Harbour, from Pegasus Bay.
I walked there today, from Taylor's Mistake - & back.
This image shows one of the gun emplacements from WWII. None of the fortifications that were put in place were ever used, thankfully.
