Nordiska Museet
Warm, sunny day. We walked from our son's apartment through Gamla Stan to the Nordiska Museum, an ornate building. We are impressed by the number of well preserved heritage buildings and parks. In the museum the household section reminded me of my childhood in the Netherlands. We saw the furniture and appliances of the 1950's as well as other periods in history.
The section that most interested us was the folk art.
After lunch we walked along the water in the direction of the Rosendals slott. And from that beautiful estate we walked to Gröna Lund where we caught the ferry, Emelia, back to Barnängsbryggan.
