country kitchen

This morning our friend Stella reminded D that her husband Leslie had an apron to give to him. Leslie does all the cooking in their house - he was a cook in the army many years ago and still enjoys being in the kitchen. Now that D has retired, Leslie thought he would be spending more time in the kitchen as well. (this is true, since D and I take it in turns to cook our evening meals).

We walked along to Stella and Leslie's house (where Leslie was cooking Sunday lunch) and D tried the apron on there and then over all his clothes! 

It's his turn to cook tonight :-)
