Wild Orchids
The weather is so much better this morning with blue skies and sunshine. We popped down to the wetlands centre as a pair of Stilts had been seen on the far side of pond. We could just about make them out with our binoculars but I got a even better view when a visitor let me use his telescope, just before they moved in behind the geese.
We left there and walked along to the orchid field not realising how chilly the wind was. We found a lovely sheltered spot behind the reeds where there were loads of these orchids. They much easier to photograph than the ones in the orchid field which isn't ready for visitors yet.
