What's outside my window.
I have been waiting all day for the sun to come out, and at 7pm it has finally made it.
This is the view from one of our lounge windows.
As I have mentioned in previous blips, it overlooks next door's garden.
Our garden is at the other side of the house.
Always well kept as the garden maintenance people come once a week to cut the grass etc.
Since the cherry tree was cut down we have a better view of the copper beech tree, which is just coming into leaf, and it also gives us more light in the living room.
At the very bottom is J's play area, although she seems to have outgrown it now. Much prefers the trampoline, which I think is just in view.
At the moment the bluebells are in flower. Not the English ones I'm afraid, but the larger Spanish variety.
The holly tree nearest the window provides a lot of cover for the birds.
Not sure if any are actually nesting in there, but it is a favourite perch of a male blackbird, who is singing away at the moment.
So that is my contribution for the Blip Community challenge.
Monday again tomorrow, and that's another weekend flown by.
So glad we are now retired. Monday's aren't so bad anymore!
