How long....

....is my shadow? Claire thought as she looked down in the low sun.

I woke up feeling terrible still, I really wanted to meet up with my dad today and go out on my pushbike but at 08:00 this morning I had to cancel.
I had some good sleep but I still woke up aching.

Anyone who knows me knows I can't sit still and especially at weekends I have to do stuff whether it be working or doing fun things for pleasure. The thought of another day house bound was gutting. I did rest most of the day but after I had a lovely meal cooked by Claire I felt strong enough to get out for a little walk in the glorious sunshine. 

On my doorstep there are lots of footpaths and towpaths so we set off and had a stroll for a good hour, it wasn't fast but it was lovely and prevented me from getting cabin fever. 

Definitely a better day than yesterday.
