Lambs at last!

I went back to Glen Sax for the third time this spring and found a good number of lambs this time. There are still a fair number of lambs to come, both in the low lying fields and on the hills, where there were still no lambs. The fields seemed to be divided into twin lambs and single lambs - maybe the sheep with twins get extra food? 

I've gone to town on the extra photos today: more lambs, three at a time, a ram with truly impressive horns and an odd couple of a horse and a splendidly iridescent black pheasant. I've taken huge numbers of photos of the black pheasants which are reared on this estate, and I reckon this is probably the best, so it's got a blip at last.
