Night Heron

We had just enough time this morning to do a quick turn around Spring Lake before getting home to meet with some old friends. By that I mean friends we have known for a long time rather than that they are anywhere as old as we are.

This is something of an emergency Blip since I'm pretty sure I have taken this very bird's picture many times, but he is back to his old haunt at one end of the lake having been displaced for a couple years by all the extreme weather conditions.

I have had no time for comments or even to take any other pictures since we have been so busy getting caught up. Tomorrow we are going to the beach and it will probably be another busy day, but I'll try to get more pictures and get caught up.
