Spent a long time down at the cottage so not a great deal of variety in shots from our house today. Lots of photos taken of the cottage though now it is almost ready for its first guests and I am excited about some of them! Soon to be put on the website. Others I might retake with minor tweaks.
Still waiting for the IT guy to get the Wi-Fi working and I need to re-write my local guide as so much has changed since last year.

The sheep are maddening. Their paddock is overgrazed and did resemble a lunar landscape with thistles until earlier in the week when Spousie strimmed the thistles. The paddock above, which surrounds our house, is full of delicious juicy tall weeds and the sheep have access to it all the time. You'd think they would spend most of their time grazing in the upper paddock but no. They can hear us talking as we work down at the cottage and just like triffids they are attracted to our voices. So they lie in the dust on a path behind the cottage. When we finish work and return to our own house they follow. They come right up to the house, next to the walls and stand on the paved area. Instead of nibbling at the half-acre of nourishing weeds surrounding them they investigate tiny things in pots, just like their late mother. I do love them, they are adorable as well as stupid, but these will be our last. After that the land will be tamed solely by strimmer and it will do a far better job.
