What an evening....

....ok, so I may have cheated a little and made a collage of photos taken from last night, but I just had to share it with you. On Friday a good friend of mine contacted me and asked if I could help make up a quiz team this Sunday as they had been let down. Now, this wasn't just any old quiz, oh no. First there was a talk by Mark Labbett, who is know as The Beast in the ITV quiz show The Chase, then all the teams had to compete against him in a final showdown. The top 3 quiz teams were to select a member of the team and then they would compete in a first to 10 correct answers round head to head against The Beast. The quiz was fun, and when the scores came up we weren't in the top 3, but as The Beast was first, there was an extra spot for the final, and my team was fourth, so we were in!!! My team mates quickly said Ali you're up!!! All in unison, so I had no choice but to go to the front. But then the compare allowed us to take another team member, and later on, a third was allowed to join. It was grewat fun, we only scored one point in the head to head, and came Third. The Beast was so fast at hitting the buzzer, so the compare made him do the actions to Y.M.C.A. before he could buzz in, to give us all a chance. Another team did really well, but in the end The Beast won. Afterwards he stayed so everyone could get a photo with him. It was such a good evening, and Mark was such a nice, genuine bloke
