What's in a Name?
Pheasant's Eye or Poet's Narcissus, this plant has at least two names. I prefer to call it the Poet's Narcissus, as it seems rather different from the others in the garden - more delicate, single-flowered, very fragrant.
In truth, it's as tough as old boots. I found these struggling out of a rhoddie that is bent on world domination, its flowers intact and stems still straight. So I picked them and blipped them, and now they are in a vase and scenting the sitting room.
