Helmsley Castle Gatehouse

An easy day in Helmsley before setting off on the first stage of the Cleveland Way tomorrow to Kilburn. I had a very enjoyable blipmeet with LaurenceA1 whose photographs I have always admired and it was great to meet him in person and to find that we share similar backgrounds.
A freezing cold wind here today but tomorrow looks better.
A message was waiting for me on arrival relayed from Whitby Police and I have filed an online report so news of my camera may yet turn up.
I have another sketch to finish later so may add that as an extra.
