National Treasures

On a visit today to John Lewis in Bluewater, we were greeted by life sized cut outs by illustrator Paul Thurlby.

They are part of a National Treasures campaign featuring 220 diverse characters, as well as a range of installations within all 48 John Lewis stores, celebrating customs, spaces, places, people and habits that Brits hold dear (sic).

My blip features '"afternoon tea" - others "a walk in the park" or the British seaside. They are great fun.
