A quarter of sweets

Back to work today after a loverly relaxing weekend enjoying the sunshine.

I was really busy today as all 3 of my scheme project mangers are on annual leave. As predicted there were issues on a couple of their projects which I had to sort out whilst they are off.

Comming back on the train we had a discussion about imperial and metric measurements, or as I call it old and new money. Nowadays people say I went on holiday and it was 40degrees. In old money I know it as 100degrees. We also discussed when we used to go into a sweet shop and as for a quarter of sweets. I'm not embarrassed to admit I only found out today a quarter is actually 4oz. I can sleep easily at night now as I always wanted to know what the weight of a quarter was.
