An almost serene morning; possibly something to do with the bright sunshine being so inviting that there was no struggle for anyone to get out into it?

And so to school before a day out on the bike; through the 'hood; to tower blocks (Only the 1st floor of the fourth tallest building in Edinburgh), then the suburbia of Silverknowes (round and round in circles) and Blackhall; and the oddity of Ferniehill - I had one odd call to do that needed doing, so I slogged up the hill and back down again in an energetic hour. 
Stockbridge was at a standstill; a police car responding to an emergency had ploughed into 3 parked cars as another car pulled put from behind a van, oblivious to the oncoming police car...messy- no casualties as far as I could see.
And then walked her home before finishing off in Tollcross and Marchmont. 
54km later I figured I was due a cup of tea; worked for a bit and then dozed before taking the Clique kids clips to her and a couple of glasses of wine (no dinner) before coming home to properly collapse....
