I had not long woken up and was standing in my kitchen making a cup of tea. Then I glanced out the living room window and decided I like the light: that ashy gold marinaded in purple that means the sun'll climb into view not long hence. This photo doesn't quite capture the timbre of the light, but it's pretty close. Notice the red dot across the street: someone was already out and about!
