Got on an emotional roller coaster this evening... found out that I have to be out of the country for 30 days before I can re-enter on a visit visa!! I can't afford to be away for that length of time. Found out later that rule is for a different visa category. Its fairly typical of this place that the rules change so often and so quickly, no-one really knows. It can get a bit stressful. Aaahh... life in the Middle East...
