Sixteenth Century Greensleeves

Today was day trip day, out to Sergiev Posad, a very churchy town about an hour and a half outside Moscow.
The train ride was an adventure in itself with the singing nuns, drunks and hawkers selling their wares. Then when we got there, Google in its infinite wisdom told us that the last train back to Moscow was in 10 minutes. After we established that Google didn't know its ass from its elbow, we headed off to the churches.
They are all close together, so there wasn't too much traipsing around to be done. The better third was introduced to her first glass of Kvas, a low alcohol beery drink made from fermented rye bread, but tasting better than it sounds. Even though a drier one, it was too sweet for me.
