Watching The Parade

I couldn't get over to the city early enough today to secure a place on the route of the Olympic/Paralympic parade, but I managed to see the end of it, across the heads of the billion* people who got there before me.
Much cheering especially from the kids brought there by their teachers.

Later I watched the flypast go over the Barbican on it's way to the Mall. It was led by the BA jet that brought the Olympic flame from Greece. And the Red Arrows fired off the red, white and blue smoke just as they went overhead. Weeeeeeeee!
