We went for a rather late afternoon walk (it was around 5pm by the time we got there) Light is fading fast now, but we had a good time non the less.  When his little legs get tired he just sits on the floor for a bit, then he'll get up and walk a few paces before sitting back down.  This will continue for quite a while, he's really rather stubborn.  Dunno where he gets that from...
