Today was a pilgrimage to the Expo center to commememorate the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, that put all people of Japanese ancestry into prison camps. Portland became the first city on the west coast to accomplish this injustice.

It was heartrending to listen to the stories and sickening to realize how history really can and does repeat itself. We have to pay attention.
