A Rose by any other name...

Took a trip into York this afternoon using my bus pass!! I normally cycle in but after my pilates class and with a very cold wind blowing decided to take the easy option. I needed to collect some train tickets ready for my trip to Bristol next month and to meet up with some of my friends at the Spurriergate Centre for afternoon tea and a good catch-up. Took the opportunity for a wander along part of the Bar Walls and through the North Street gardens. Took a few pictures from the walls and noticed the sun shining on the Rose Window hence this rather untypical view of the Minster. Saw a family of geese with very young goslings resting up in the gardens - see extra and the rest here.
