Day 129/17. Even Honey Bees need water.....

The UK is suffering a dry spell. Rainfall was below normal last month with 48% of average overall, making it the 10th driest April in a series from 1910.
Early May has still seen no substantial rain.
Signs of the effect in our garden at lunchtime included tinder dry grass.
And Honey Bees at the edge of our small pond gathering (or drinking?) water. They must be desperately dry as my macro lens 5cm from them did not scare them off.
A hosepipe ban cannot be far away........
