First rose

I had to put my coat on when I went outside to photograph this rose, and again this evening for the watering session. Although the sun has put in an appearance late today, there is still a bitter wind. I believe there is a bit of optimism in the forecast, let's hope so.
The rose is Golden Wedding, a gift from our family nearly five years ago. It took a little while to get established but is looking healthy now.
