Taking a punt or two

This was what I intended to photograph yesterday and the previous day, before I got sidetracked.

BlipNumberHistory - I've been missing lots of momentous dates but here's one:

Blip 1939. We know what happened. I quite like the symmetry of the coincidence that today is the day we mark the end of that war in 1945 Europe (though the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were still to come).
