Snow melt

It was the first day of a short Yosemite trip. Upon arriving we were greeting by the fast moving Merced River that parallels the road. After a winter of record snowfall, the first hot spell caused such rapid melting that the rivers were the fastest I have seen in almost 40 years of coming to Yosemite.
