A beautiful Jacaranda . . .

A beautiful Jacaranda tree, flowering on our street. I have taken photos of this tree two days in a row, when we were taking Chloe for a walk. It is so magnificent! It even smells good and reminds me of the tiny flower Alyssum -very sweet. Today there was a woodpecker in the tree, but I could not catch it with my camera phone. Still beautiful to see!
