Boar Mill, Corfe Castle

In the foreground is the hatch, left open to release the waters of the mill race.

The mill, on the east Side of the Castle, ceased functioning several decades ago.  The mill cottage, owned by the National Trust, is now used for holiday lets.  (It featured in the mid-1970s TV version of "The Mayor of Casterbridge".)
