Gold medal

On the way back from Yorkshire to Scotland on Sunday, we stopped off at my brother's house for a coffee and catch-up. It had been the local annual scarecrow competition and my niece and nephew had entered two Olympic themed displays showing a rower and a diver. This is the rower. They won first prize for the second year in a row!!

Thank you for your good wishes for Mum. She is ok but will remain in hospital for some rehabilitation with a view to her getting home in due course. Back to the Scottish cold and rain after the blistering Yorkshire heat!
