Tuesday: Onion Planting
Another warm and sunny day.
Cleared a deep bed near the greenhouse and added fresh compost then planted out about 50 "The Kelsae" onion seedlings. I'd scattered the seed not expecting them to germinate, the seed was very old but they have grown well and will hopefully make good growth over the next few months.
When I came in for lunch there was a parcel waiting for me - a gorgeous book with lots of lovely ideas for sewing projects. When it gets too hot for gardening, or when the rain arrives I'll be experimenting with all the lovely ideas in the book. Thank you Jo, it's perfect :-)) xx
