The little princess

A lazy Blip today, I flew back to Budapest today and didn't want to Blip clouds or the plane yet again.
This statue isn't far away from my apartment, although its a fairly new addition to to Budapest it's one of the most photographed images. It's in a great location on the Pest side of the Danube with the citadel, Palace and fisherman's bastion in the background.
I don't know much about the statue apart from it was put on the fence by the tram stop in 1990, most people think its a boy but it's really a girl, the sculptures name is Laszlo Marton and he got the idea after seeing his young daughter playing in his garden in fancy dress.

It's still 30 degrees in Budapest although the temp is dropping by the weekend to 25 :-)
